Building a Scene in Maya

[UPDATE]

I went back and worked some more on lighting, because the lack of shadows was bothering me. I'm not too savvy when it comes to Maya lighting, so just a little extra practice helps.

This is the scene without any lights - just my initials.

1 point lighting - using a fairly large area light.

2 point lighting - another area light, smaller and off to the right of the initials.

3 point lighting - I used two small spot lights next to the initials, and changed their color. It really lightened up the scene and added more color interest.

[MY FIRST ATTEMPT]
I closed Maya before saving a regular render of my initials, but I was able to do my one point, two point, and three point lighting!
